I'm really excited to finally release Terrifying Zombies: Tower Defence II, the follow-up to my tower defence game that I worked on by myself for years as an independent creator. This isn't your standard "build and wait" experience. While protecting your base from zombies, you're right in the middle of all the chaos.
The freedom is what makes this game stand out. You can directly control your hero with the WASD or arrow keys as you run around the area and shoot zombies as they come up to you. You're also putting up Shock Towers and walls to slow down the crowd. There is always offence and defence going on at the same time.
What if you trip and fall? Stress-free. You can spend your Gold to make a copy of your hero right away and go back into fight. Just that makes everything better—no more annoying game-overs.
You can focus on staying alive while the tools are easy to use. Move with the WASD keys, click to build defences, and quickly take care of your resources. However, that simplicity hides a real plan. You'll have to choose when to fight, when to get stronger, and how to best use your Gold.
The Boss Countdown Tracker changes everything. You can see how many days are left until the big zombie bosses show up, giving you time to get your defences ready. There are also brand-new maps with Day and Night cycles and new types of zombies that make each round different.
My honest advice? Do not forget about your Shock Towers. They do a lot of damage and can buy you valuable seconds. Also, keep some Gold for cloning. It's much better to return right away than to start over. Keep an eye on that Boss Tracker too—it's the best way to tell what's going on.
You don't have to download anything to play the Terrifying Zombies: Tower Defence II. You can play it right in your browser for free. To protect your base, just click on the link. Please download the Android version (with auto-landscape movement) if you like it. It would mean a lot to me as a single developer. For now, though, check out the web version. Place your Shock Towers and build your walls. Then, see how many waves you can handle. I really want to hear your thoughts and your best wave count!
