In the short, scary game Cheat or Repeat, you have a bad dream where you have to study for a big test and don't know the right answers. You are in school and decide to cheat with your phone. That sounds pretty simple, doesn't it? It's not. The teachers walk around the room all the time. You are caught after just one look at your screen. It's over. You can't get a second chance. You have 10 minutes to answer these questions. Each question will take about that long. Things aren't really wrong with the clock, though. That's the fault of teachers.
Start the test
There is a test paper on your desk right now. Your phone is the only way out.
Figure things out
Press the Space bar to look at your phone. On the screen, letters show up. Type them in the search bar quickly to fill it up. When it's full, the right answer will show up.
Fill out the test
Press the number keys 1 through 4 to pick the answer your phone gives you. Even if you mess up, you can keep going. But if you do that too often, your score will go down.
Pay attention to the teacher
While you look at your test, hold down the right mouse button and move it around the room.
Go back to your test right away if the teacher comes close.
Look at the teacher until they leave if something doesn't seem right about where they are.
Don't get caught
The game is over right away if you look at your phone near a teacher. Don't go back. You can't try again that day unless you start the whole run over.
One minute for each question: The timer keeps going, and you lose time if you stop.
You have to act like a normal student while you're cheating, which makes it hard to beat.
There are four steps that get harder as you go. Each teacher does things in their own way. You will fail if you don't.
You can't get stopped, and if you do, you have to start over on the day of the test.
Just use the space bar, the number keys, and the mouse to play this game. It's easy to learn but hard to survive.
Cheat or Repeat doesn't have any scary moments. In a quiet way, it's about the fear of being caught guilty while someone is looking. When you play the game, it checks how quickly you can react, how calm you are, and how well you can handle stress. You'll be caught. Probably more than once. You learn something new every time you fail, like the teacher's watch route, the best time to check your phone, or how to type faster. If you like short scary games that you can play over and over and don't focus on blood and guts, this is one you should try. But don't cheat in real life. Do everything you can to pass Cheat or Repeat?
